Church Ministries

GraceWomen
The purpose of our women’s ministry is to empower our ladies to be overcomers by encouraging, equipping, and edifying. We do this by engaging with each other during events ranging from prayer services to Bible studies to Bunco Nights. We know that we need each other! Check the GCC calendar to get in on the latest GraceWomen’s activities.
If you have any questions or would like to get involved with our GraceWomen’s group, feel free to contact Cheryl Davis by email at sisterpastor@gccsalem.org.

GCC Men
Men’s Ministry at Grace is committed to influence men to be the honorable leaders God has called them to be…in their homes, in their church, and in their community. Iron sharpens iron and we want to help men grow in their relationship with God and build deep friendships with other godly men. A natural result of this is spiritually stronger husbands, fathers, families, and churches. Our purpose is to challenge one another to serve God and our church in a greater capacity.
If you have any questions or would like to get involved with the Men’s Ministry of Grace, email Ronnie White at rwhite@gccsalem.org

ABF / Sunday School
Adult Bible Fellowships (ABF) and Sunday School Classes are held from 9:30-10:15 every Sunday morning. During this time we have age-appropriate classes for children through high school as well as classes designed with life applicable lessons for adults. These ABF classes are subject-based and typically change every 6-12 weeks. ABF’s provide an atmosphere where you can develop relationships of genuine concern and commitment to one another, dig deeper, ask questions, and engage in a dialogue about the truths in God’s Word. Bring your Bible and join us for a cup of coffee…make ABF and Sunday School a part of your Sunday worship experience.
For more information or to volunteer in this area, contact our Associate Pastor and Christian Education Director, Rhonda Barnes at rbarnes@gccsalem.org.

Grace Worship Ministry
GCC is blessed with one of the most anointed worship teams you can find. One thing that helps to set them apart is their heart for worship. The vision of our Worship Team, led by Willie White, is to use our instruments, voices, and talents to glorify God and usher in His Presence. There are plenty of venues in which musicians perform music, but this isn’t one of them. Performance draws attention to man, but worship draws attention to God and that is our purpose!
To learn more about the Worship Ministry of Grace, contact Willie White at wwhite@gccsalem.org.

Grace Student Ministries
Grace Student Ministries Youth

Every Wednesday evening at 7 p.m., they meet for an exciting and inspirational service which includes a time of worship and a relevant message that will challenge you throughout the week. Our youth leaders are ready to meet you! Join us this Wednesday!

Our AV Team specializes in creating an environment conducive to worshipping God through Media Presentation, Lighting, Sound, and Livestream Camera. Our Media Team provides the song lyrics, backgrounds, and scriptures onscreen and on social media during services. Our Lighting Team sets the mood for worship, whether upbeat or reverential. GCC’s Sound Team ensures consistent audio quality and mixes the vocals and instruments for the right blend. And our Livestream Camera team captures it all for sharing online and through social media. It takes teamwork!

Our Hospitality Team is the HEART of our church. It’s so much more than just shaking hands and passing out bulletins. The Hospitality ministry sets the stage for every person’s experience at Grace. The majority of people who come to our church will decide within the first thirty seconds whether they are going to come back or not and YOU are their first impression. You are the face of Grace as you greet and welcome people as they come in the door. We desire to show the love of God to each person and connect!

Grace Kids
At Grace Community Church, we are passionate about helping kids know Jesus, grow in their faith, and have fun while doing it! Throughout the week, we offer exciting, age-appropriate environments for ages Nursery - 6th grade where children can build friendships, learn God's Word, and experience His love through engaging Bible lessons, worship, games, hands-on activities, and small group discussions. Whether it's our Sunday morning Grace Kids services, midweek in Royal Rangers and National Girls. Ministries, special events, camps, or family activities, every gathering is designed to provide a safe, welcoming place where children can discover who God is and grow into the person, He created them to be. We would love for your family to join us as we partner with parents to help kids know Him more and make Him known.
Nursery
Every service we have committed volunteers ready to care for your infants and toddlers. This nursery provides a caring, safe and dependable environment made just for your little one. It’s our heart’s desire to teach the youngest here at Grace that God loves them and they are a special creation. (Ages 0-2)
Sonshine Gang
During Sunday morning worship, our toddlers have a power-packed service in the Children’s Learning Center (CLC). This service is designed for kids to have fun and keep their attention, but also to realize that God has an important plan for their lives. Our desire is to impact our youngest to discover God! (Ages 3, 4, and 5)
Girls Ministries
National Girls Ministries is a fun and encouraging discipleship program created to help girls build a strong foundation in God’s Word while discovering their identity and purpose in Christ. Through engaging Bible lessons, creative activities, friendships, service opportunities, and mentoring, girls are equipped to grow in their faith and develop into compassionate, confident young women who love God and love others. Every gathering provides a safe, welcoming environment where girls can learn, grow, and shine for Jesus.
Royal Rangers
Royal Rangers is an exciting, adventure-based ministry designed to help boys grow into Christlike men through hands-on learning, outdoor activities, leadership development, and biblical discipleship. From camping trips and skill-building to Bible studies and service projects, boys are encouraged to deepen their relationship with Jesus, build lasting friendships, and develop character, confidence, and integrity. Every meeting is an opportunity to grow in faith while discovering the adventure God has planned for their lives.
Our children’s safety is our highest priority and so we require each of our volunteers to undergo a background check prior to being involved in our Children’s Ministries. If you are interested in serving, reach out to us at grace@gccsalem.org.

Security Team
While in the facilities of GCC, you can engage in worship with the comfort of knowing that the Security Team is watching over the safety of all our guests.
Volunteering for our Security Team is a great opportunity for those over 18 years old to serve the congregation of Grace. To learn more about necessary training, contact Loren Wood at lwood@gccsalem.org.

Prayer
Prayer is an amazing opportunity to team up with the Holy Spirit, our helper, and be led to pray out the mysteries of God each and every day. We believe the statement by Arthur Matthews that “The spiritual history of a church is written in its prayer life,” and it’s our intention to write a history full of the demonstration of the power and presence of God at GCC. Join us for Ladies’ Prayer on Tuesdays at 10 a.m. in the Sanctuary or for Intercessory Prayer at 7 p.m. on the last Saturday of each month.
For more information reach out to Associate Pastor Rhonda Barnes at rbarnes@gccsalem.org.
